Full-time lead Linux DevOps engineer at Universiteit Utrecht — and I do it with real pleasure and satisfaction. I'm not going anywhere; this site is here to pick up freelance work alongside that job, not to replace it.
I work agile, in sprints, together with my team. Day to day I work with Kubernetes, OpenShift, vSphere, Proxmox, Ansible Automation Platform, and Linux VMs — both RHEL and Ubuntu.
My team and I manage multiple platforms that we offer to various faculties (such as Beta, DGK, and the UB — the university library). We take care of the underlying layer and help developers with their automation. It's a large environment, and it keeps growing.
